How to Survive the Heat

Brauer offers operator fans

Operator fans are a great way to keep your operators cool and working as efficiently as possible in the summer heat.

And a couple of tips to keep your warehouse cool!

  • Ceiling and floor fans will keep the air circulating and moving air feels cooler than stagnant air. Ceiling fans have settings for summer and winter. In the summer, the air should be blowing down, and in the winter, it will pull air up.
  • Dock doors and windows are one of the biggest contributors to an overheated warehouse. Do your best to keep them closed in the Summer and if they have to be open often, try installing vinyl strip doors.
  • Make sure your employees are drinking plenty of water or hydrating liquids such as Gatorade.
